Newsroom

Dear Members of the Bentley Community,

I write to you today with an update on the search for our next president. Since my last message, members of the Presidential Search Committee and our search consultants from Isaacson, Miller have met with over 350 diverse constituents from our community, including faculty, students, staff, administrators, board members and alumni. Through these conversations, we have learned more about the opportunities and challenges facing our next president and the qualifications and experiences we are seeking in candidates. The search committee thanks all of you who attended those meetings and voiced your thoughts and perspectives regarding Bentley’s future.

We synthesized the themes we heard into a comprehensive position profile that has been approved by the search committee—you can find the document on our presidential search website. This document will help potential candidates better understand who we are as a Bentley community and what we expect of our next president.

Our search consultants have begun their robust, national outreach efforts. They are contacting potential candidates across the country to build a strong, diverse pool for the search committee's consideration. As always, the search committee welcomes your suggestions of potential candidates or others who might be able to offer suggestions. Please contact us at ga_presidentialsearch@bentley.edu with any recommendations you might have.

Sincerely,

Nick Stavropoulos ’79, Trustee
Chair, Presidential Search Committee
