Join a Gaggle of Digital Marketers at Bentley's CMT in May
I recently blogged about the importance of students — make that everybody — knowing how to actually use the most advanced tools available in their area of professional interest.
Now, for those of you interested in marketing, I’d like to follow up with an invitation to practice what I preach. Bentley University’s Center for Marketing Technology (CMT) is pleased to partner with GaggleAMP to host the first AMPlify conference, May 13 and 14, on the Bentley campus in Waltham. This special event will include two days of content and hands-on workshops in the conference center and the CMT.
Partnering with GaggleAmp is part of the CMT strategy to engage with leading digital marketers and the toolsets they are employing to deepen the conversation and connection with their customers. GaggleAMP is a social media and marketing platform that brings together marketers, their employees, stakeholders, friends and followers to participate in a company’s marketing efforts seamlessly.
I use GaggleAMP like many other companies and individuals to widely distribute their content and messages by creating a network of people (called a “Gaggle”) that share, tweet, and post company-created messages and content, thus amplifying the reach of the content. Additionally, GaggleAMP provides analytics and reporting for messages shared on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn.
AMPlify will bring together leading digital marketing practitioners and guide attendees towards the best routes of success when it comes to engaging users. At AMPlify, you will hear from leading practitioners from companies such as EarthLink and CA Technologies on how to engage stakeholders and what they have learned from leveraging their own stakeholder communities as well as thought leaders and commentators like me. Gaggle managers and social media marketing professionals alike will address issues such as employee advocacy, employee engagement and partner engagement, helping attendees to combat these unique challenges head-on. Register today and join us in Bentley’s CMT on May 13 and 14 to learn the latest techniques from the leading social media marketers and share your experiences with them and other attendees.
Ian Cross teaches in the marketing degree program at Bentley University and is director of the Center for Marketing Technology at Bentley.
