Controller

Reporting to the Vice President of Finance & Administration/Treasurer, the Controller's Office plays a crucial role in ensuring the financial integrity and operational effectiveness of Bentley University. The office is responsible for overseeing the university's financial management functions, including accounting, financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance with applicable federal, state, and university policies and procedures. The Controller's Office helps ensure the proper use of university funds while supporting the university's mission and strategic goals.

The Controller's Office manages the preparation and maintenance of accurate financial records, monitors financial transactions, and provides timely and reliable financial information to university leadership, departments, and external stakeholders. The office is also responsible for implementing and maintaining strong financial controls designed to safeguard university assets, promote accountability, and ensure compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements.

The University Controller's Office encompasses several key functional areas, including Accounts Payable, Payroll, and Financial Systems. These departments work together to ensure the accurate processing of payments, timely and compliant payroll administration, and the effective management of the university's financial technology systems.

Our hours of operation are from Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. We are located on the ground level of the Rauch Administration Building.
