What is Financial Operations?
Financial Operations is a key department within Administration and Finance, supporting Bentley University through effective financial management, accounting, budgeting, reporting, and internal controls. The department is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, monitoring the university’s financial position, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and institutional policies, and safeguarding financial resources.
Working closely with campus leaders and departments across the university, Financial Operations provides timely and reliable financial information that supports strategic planning, informed decision-making, and responsible resource allocation. The department also develops and implements financial policies and best practices that promote transparency, accountability, and operational efficiency.
