What happens if I do not run the LBC utility?
If you do not run the Leaving Bentley Checkout utility, your laptop will operate in reduced functionality mode. Part of the LBC process is to convert your current licenses to one that will allow you uninterrupted use of Microsoft Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 2016 after you leave Bentley. In addition, you no longer have legal rights to run Sophos on your laptop. LBC will remove Sophos and will enable Windows Defender

I plan on continuing to take classes at Bentley, in Graduate school, should I run the LBC utility?
Yes, students continuing onto Graduate school must run the utility.
