Code Blue Help Point

43 Code Blue Help Points are installed across campus, marked by a high-intensity blue beacon. Pressing the red HELP button connects directly to University Police Dispatch. Some units also feature 360° surveillance cameras.

Switches

216 access switches across 60 network rooms support campus connectivity, powering wireless, phones, desktops, security systems, building controls (HVAC, lighting, irrigation), Sodexo registers, GrubHub, classroom tech, gaming systems, and more.

Wireless

Over 2,000 wireless access points provide robust indoor and outdoor Wi-Fi coverage across campus.

Fiber Optics

Single-mode yellow fiber cables deliver high-speed, reliable connectivity from the data center to access switches, enabling end-to-end and internet communication. There is currently 172,000' or 32 1/2 miles containing 6500 strands of fiber optic cable underground and overhead on campus.
