Welcome to CLIC! I am Alessia Dalsant, professor of Spanish and Italian language and culture, and director of the Center for Languages and International Collaboration. I have been a college professor since 2005, and I taught in a number of different institutions in the US. I am interested in Second Language Acquisition and the use of technology such as VR and AR to enhance language learning. At CLIC, I am eager to create a multicultural environment where cross-cultural interactions can flourish so that students can develop cultural and linguistic competencies.
My name is Daniel Alegre and I have been working at CLIC since 2018. I work as a French and Spanish tutor and am excited to help you. I currently live in Rye, New York, but I grew up in London, England and Geneva, Switzerland. I hold seven passports and love learning about and exploring different cultures. I am an MBA student at Bentley, and I will be concentrating in Law and Taxation. I am excited to see new and old students again and am here to help whenever you need me! 你好! My name is Joanna Jin, and I am one of the Chinese Language Partners at CLIC. I was born is Chengdu, China, and grew up in Guangzhou, China, so I can speak multiple dialects of Chinese including the Cantonese. I am majoring in Accountancy and minoring in Psychology. Besides Chinese, I can speak Korean, and now starting to learn French. I love to travel and I have been to almost every province in China, South Korea, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Turkey, France, Netherland and many other countries. I also love dancing and singing. I am so glad to help others learning Chinese and Chinese culture, so feel free to ask me anything about China, Chinese languages or just everything in your life that you think I can help with.

My name is Samuel Sebagisha, I am an international student from the Democratic Republic of Congo. I was born and raised in Goma, Congo, and moved to Kigali, Rwanda to complete my high school. I then came to the U.S to pursue my college education. I am a junior majoring in Actuarial Science with a minor in Data Technology. I speak Kiswahili, Kinyarwanda, English, and French. I love traveling to new places, learning, and sharing new skills. Last year, I tutored Math and enjoyed that experience very much; I am excited about the current opportunity of tutoring French!
My name is Veronica Zamora and I am a French and Spanish tutor at the CLIC lab. I am currently a Freshman from San Juan, Puerto Rico and I aspire to major in Creative industries in the near future. Ever since I can remember, I know Spanish as it is my native language along with English. Also, I started studying French in 7th grade until now.
