Virtual Advising Night for UX Certificate Students

Directions and Day of

Courses are held at Bentley University, 175 Forest Street, Waltham MA, in the Smith Technology Building, Room 223. View Driving Directions and Map.

All course materials are provided. Class starts promptly at 9 am and ends at 5 pm each day. Breakfast, lunch and mid-day break foods are provided. 

Remote students will receive course materials from Shannon Shea ( the week of the course and links to access the course remotely from Ruth Horwitz ( Please check your Bentley issued email as this is how we communicate for this program. 

Portfolio Assignment and Grades

Portfolio: You will be given an assignment at the end of each course and will have approximately 2 weeks to complete it. The work will be independent and not a group effort. The assignment usually takes 5-7 hours to complete and you will have approximately 2 weeks to complete it.

Add/Drop & Receiving your Certificate

To add/drop a course, contact Gail Wessell at, 781-891-2513. Students must submit their cancellation request in writing to Gail two-weeks in advance of the start of the course for a full refund. 

*In order to be eligible for a certificate, you must complete nine courses, three of which are required. Once you receive your final grade, email She will complete a degree audit and issue your certificate.


Cancellation Policy

All cancellation notifications much be sent two-weeks in advance of the first day of class for a full refund. Send cancellation notifications to Gail Wessell ( 

A refund will not be issued for cancellation requests received less than two weeks from the first day of class.
