How did Bentley help you get to where you are today in your career?

Bentley helped me to network, specifically how to build and maintain my network. The Graduate Career Development (GCDI) workshop with career services taught by Audra Boni helped to build my confidence and develop professional strategies for how to approach people.

What are the top three skills you gained in your program at Bentley?

  • Financial analysis. My financial analysis skills were tested in my interview and every day in my job.
  • Networking. I’ve kept in touch with my classmates and one in particular who referred me to my current position.
  • Interview skills. Career Services workshops helped me develop the proper interview skills to launch my career.

What would you tell someone considering your program at Bentley?

Don’t get sucked into worrying about grades and GPA. Your social skills can take you far, even farther than your GPA. As for the MSF degree, do what you like and you will do it well. I like my current position and I’m prepared to learn more in order to move up the corporate ladder.
