How did Bentley help you get to where you are today in your career?

Bentley helped me become a better-rounded person and, most important, it gave me the confidence to be a leader in the different roles I will have throughout my career. At Bentley, my classmates inspired me to excel, my professors taught me to look at a situation from multiple perspectives and the courses I took helped me to build knowledge in many areas. The experiences and knowledge I gained at Bentley have opened many new opportunities for me.

What are the top three skills you gained in your program at Bentley?

• Critical thinking. The professors at Bentley are great at teaching you to analyze a situation from multiple perspectives. I’ve learned to step back and look at the big picture when faced with a challenge.
• Analytical skills. I learned to be more data-driven and make a better decision based on the data I analyze.
• Confidence and decision-making ability. I've learned that you are not always going to have all the information you need in a situation, but you will need to have the confidence and trust in your decision-making ability to find a solution.

What would you tell someone considering your program at Bentley?

The amazing thing about Bentley is there are many opportunities to take advantage of, from different courses to take, to events to attend on campus and various student groups to join. Each opportunity can open new doors for your future career. In my experience, I went to the career fair where I secured an internship at athenahealth, and now I'm working there full-time.
