How did Bentley help you get to where you are today in your career?

I think it has added real value to my CV. However, I didn’t change my position significantly just by pursuing the MBA. What I was doing before the program is what really mattered.

What are the top three skills you gained in your program at Bentley?

• Design thinking. We had a course on design thinking and learned how to build on someone else’s ideas to develop new concepts and solutions. Through all the courses we took, we applied this thinking and the “Yes, and…” mentality to collaborate effectively.
• Better teamwork and team management. I learned how to be more open to others’ opinions and realized that we all have good ideas. We worked in teams all the time.
• Strategic thinking. Being more aware of disruptive technologies. Disruptive technologies will affect the way everyone does business and it's important to be aware of it to make strategic decisions in the future.

What would you tell someone considering your program at Bentley?

Ask yourself, “What is my goal and what are my career aspirations?” If you want to work in a global company (or a startup with global aspiration), with diverse teams, with people from all around the world, and you want to be a team leader at some point then this is the program for you.
