The Business Law Major plays a pivotal role in shaping the dynamics of the corporate world. The major reflects Bentley's legacy of innovation and leadership, addressing a longstanding challenge of bridging the gap between business and legal professionals. More than just a precursor to law school, this major is designed to empower students with a strategic grasp of how law intersects with business and society. It equips them to engage effectively in conversations with both business professionals and attorneys, fostering a unique ability to serve as a bridge between these distinct realms. 

Students can tailor their focus within the major, choosing between a general Business Law path for flexibility or delving into specific concentrations such as health care, financial services, social justice, business perspective, or new ventures.

This year's Bentley Moot Court Team will participate in the American Moot Court Association's (AMCA) Eastern Regional Tournament at Fitchburg State University. Since 2003, Bentley teams and individual team members have received recognition at both the regional and national levels, achieving #1 seed in the Eastern Regional Tournament in 2023, Runner-up National Champion in oral advocacy in the AMCA National Tournament in 2020, and National Champion in Brief Writing in 2020. Along the way, a number of individual team members have also received "top orator" awards.

This year's team will argue constitutional issues related to both the 5th Amendment self-incrimination clause and 1st Amendment free speech.
