Meet the Program Advisory Board
A key success factor for our graduate program is our strong connections to the national tech and business communities. One component of that network is our Advisory Board composed of thought leaders in in the XD community. This group represents diverse roles and industries and provides continuous input to the program on emerging trends in the profession.
Prior to joining CVS Health, James led the UX efforts for the first project (a 100+ page responsive web application) to transition from a Fidelity Labs pilot to a wide-scale rollout on Fidelity.com. James lead the global User Experience Strategy at PerkinElmer, with a ground up redesign of a 100k page B2B website. He founded and directed the Monster.com UX team and Studio, was the senior manager of a worldwide UX design, research, and user assistance team of 30 people at Autodesk, and led the first UX consistency/standards project at EMC. He started his career as the first hire into Bose Corporation’s UX team.

Previously, product Design Manager at Meta Reality Labs, supporting designers in the AR/VR org. Lead Designer on Facebook Stories, creating a product reaching hundreds of millions of people.
Anne is a senior User Experience and Design leader who brings about end-to-end experiences, builds high-performance multi-disciplinary teams, grows leaders and drives the company to successful outcomes through strategic focus on their users. She has deep research expertise and passion for generative research methods, design research, conducting research methods throughout the product life cycle, data-driven decision-making, coaching/mentorship and research collaboration with design and other insights functions. She has a 20+ year daily mindfulness and meditation practice, and conceived, proposed and led eBay's mindfulness/personal growth program.
Vanessa is a skilled UX research leader and strategist, who leverages user research and design thinking to drive innovation. She has experience building UXR teams, processes, and infrastructure from the ground up, and domain expertise in integrated software/hardware products and services, robotics, and digital media.
Renee is a practiced and motivated User Experience Design Researcher, with experience in health care, living abroad, and conducting global user experience research that has allowed her to develop strong interpersonal skills and expertise to strategically cultivate desirable user experiences fueled by new and existing user experience research.
Alison specializes in human factors engineering, user research, usability testing, HFE training and education, HFE-focused regulatory strategy and consulting focused in the medical and pharmaceutical industries.
Janelle has nearly 20 years of experience as a CX leader, strategist, and practitioner with the ability to positively impact key business strategies and metrics. In her role at UserTesting, she's a valued partner for setting strategic priorities, identifying unmet customer needs, visioning strategic product and service offerings, and sponsoring critical customer accounts to meet strategic and financial objectives.
Lori's experience includes customer service, consulting, conducting user research and testing, building and leading a UX team, to most recently having established a Customer Experience (CX) focus at Commonwealth Financial Network. Whether it’s face to face, by phone, or digitally, she has always been passionate about knowing and understanding my customer so that I could provide great service and memorable experiences.
At Commonwealth, she was able to utilize her expertise, management and leadership skills, to ideate and create communications, products, and services that result in unparalleled experiences both with software and with people. she's excited to continue to focus on the user experience of financial advisors and their clients in my newest role as VP of User Experience Design at Fidelity Investments.
