Health Studies

More than $3 trillion is spent on healthcare in the U.S. annually. We need problem solvers who understand the business side of this vital industry.

Our program combines studies in biology, technology, and culture to prepare you for the task ahead. With a mix of coveted skills, you can help organizations find and apply the latest scientific research—for the benefit of all.

You’ll learn the basics of human health and disease and how institutions traditionally deliver care. The program culminates in an internship or research project, so you gain valuable experience and professional contacts during your senior year. Depending on your interests, you can specialize your Health Studies degree in biotechnology, environmental health, health policy or health psychology—or create a new concentration with your faculty adviser. Every Health Studies major must complement their program with foundational business studies, leading either toward a minor or a second major in Business Studies. This ensures you leave Bentley with broad business exposure, in addition to expertise in natural sciences.
