We are focused on empowering students and scholars to pursue academic, social, and professional success. International Student Orientation
The Center for International Students and Scholars (CISS) coordinates International Student Orientation to welcome new undergraduate international students. International Student Orientation begins a few days before the New Falcon Experience, providing students with the opportunity to settle in and adjust to a new academic environment and culture. It provides important immigration information and support to ease students' transition into university life and the U.S.
International Education Week
International Education Week (IEW) takes place annually in November. It is a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the Department of Education that seeks to promote and celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange. At Bentley University, faculty, staff, and students celebrate the week by coordinating activities, programs, and presentations that increase intercultural awareness in the community and help prepare students for a global environment.
WorldView
International students educate the Bentley community about their home country, culture, and traditions through the WorldView program. The goal of this program is to increase intercultural awareness by encouraging dialogue and global connections.
Peer Mentor Program
For the Fall 2025 semester, CISS is initiating a pilot program where current international undergraduate students will serve as mentors for incoming international undergraduate students. These mentors will offer guidance to new students on navigating campus life, academic expectations, and U.S. culture.
