2021-22 Commitment

The Office of the General Counsel will work to implement and promote the utilization of the enhanced EthicsPoint reporting site. EthicsPoint is a comprehensive and confidential reporting tool created by NAVEX Global to assist Bentley in identifying and addressing the concerns of students, employees and other people affiliated with Bentley University. The service is maintained by an independent third-party provider and all reports, which can be submitted anonymously, are held securely and confidentially on the external systems.

2020-21 Commitment

The Office of the General Counsel will review our current reporting procedures and establish a robust mechanism for students, faculty, staff and guests to submit reports, including those shared anonymously, of harassment, discrimination and misconduct. This review will seek to ensure that we have a safe space for raising difficult issues, provide for a prompt and thorough investigation, take appropriate action, convey the results to the reporting party and maintain accurate records to ensure that the issue does not recur.

Update: The General Counsel's office worked with EthicsPoint to expand Bentley's anonymous reporting site to include discrimination and harassment as well as other violations of university policies. They are also revising the university's complaint site to make clear the variety of reporting options available to students, faculty and staff.
