What is Teams and why would I want to create a Teams site?
The Teams application leverages several Microsoft 365 technologies and allows users, departments and other groups to collaborate in real time on projects and work groups. How do I create a Team site?

How do I invite people to my Teams site?
You must be the Owner of a team in order to add new members. Once your team has been created, look on the left side of the Teams window for the ellipsis (3 dots) just to the right of the team name. Click on the ellipsis and then locate "Add Member". Click on "Add Member", then type the person's email address, select their name, and then click "Add". The user will be sent an email inviting them to join the Team.
What are the "Tabs" featured in each Team site?
Tabs are additional applications that can be added to your team site but are not supported by Bentley and most require you to set up an account. To learn more about tabs in Teams, click here.
How I do prevent Teams application from starting automatically when I log into my computer?
Click on the round icon that bears your initials in the upper right-hand corner of the Teams window. Click the gear icon (Settings) and then uncheck the box that says "Auto-start application".
How do I recover a file that I accidentally deleted from my Team site?
First you will need to access the Team's SharePoint site. Click on the on the ellipsis (...) sign next to your team name and then select "Open in SharePoint". Once there, follow the directions found here.
How many people can I add to my Team?
Microsoft Teams supports up to 2,500 members per Team.
What's the difference between "Chat" in the Teams app and "Conversations" within an individual team?
The "Chat" function in the left menu bar allows you to chat with individual users. The conversation you have will only be visible to you and your chat partner. "Conversations" within a team can be seen by all team members, allowing all members to contribute to the conversation.
