A New Student's Guide to Bentley International Student Resources

At Bentley University, we offer a warm and welcoming community for international students to learn, grow professionally, and engage with the world. International students make up 40+% of Bentley's graduate student population and are an essential part of our diverse community. There are several resources to help international students for those looking forward to entering a new academic and personal environment in the near future.

The Center for International Students and Scholars (CISS) offers resources for international students and promotes interactions between domestic and international students. CISS makes it possible for all Bentley students to gain a global perspective and broadened worldview. If international students have questions related to visa (F-1 or J-1) or immigration documents (Form I-20 or DS-2019), CISS will support navigating this process. The CISS office is also the information center of CPT and OPT for international students seeking to gain practical knowledge.

  • Connections Beyond Borders aims to connect international students with students, staff, and faculty from the U.S. The program helps international students adjust to life at Bentley.
  • CultureFest is held each fall and celebrates different cultures through a week-long celebration.
  • WorldView offers international graduate students a chance to educate the Bentley community about their home country, culture, and traditions.

Additional programs and services are available for international students to ensure a smooth transition from their home country to graduate studies here, including student orientation programs, transitional courses, and language support services:
