As a Marketing major, you can support marketing research and strategic planning efforts for leading global organizations. Luxury Marketing (MK 346)

Luxury brands are one of the fastest-growing areas of global business. This course is designed to provide participants with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills required to succeed in the marketing and management of complex, luxury brands. It develops an appreciation of how luxury brands have evolved over time and place, and introduces the material, symbolic and experiential dimensions of luxury. Building upon the principles of creating and developing luxury brands the course explores a range of premium industries including fashion, perfume, jewelry, the finest hotels and exclusive clubs, yachts and high-end automobiles.

Finding Her Stride as a Sneaker Entrepreneur

Durand, a Marketing major with a minor in Data Technologies, launched an independent small business reselling sneakers (that she gently wore and enjoyed) on Instagram — making a point to not buy in bulk to help promote fairness for consumers.

OurGen AI Fair: Student Showcase

Students in Professor Ian Cross’s AI and Marketing course explored how AI is transforming the marketing landscape by developing creative solutions across in product design, communication, advertising, and web development. 

During the OurGen AI Fair, students showcased a semester’s worth of projects and insights. Including a class-generated AI usage policy, a content library of AI tools, certification resources, and a custom-designed AI IQ Test.
