A film about fatherhood written, directed and co-produced and edited by Bentley’s Jeff Stern, was accepted to the Independent Film Festival Boston. Starring Stern and his son Leo, The Morning of Everything is a lyrical short film in which a father envisions the world through the eyes of his three year-old son — an extremely personal expression of Stern’s experiences as a father over the past four years.

Bentley University announces that Santander Bank, N.A. has launched a new three-year agreement with Bentley that will continue the Santander Universities Study Abroad Scholarship Fund. President and CEO of Santander US, Roman Blanco, and Bentley President Gloria Larson announced the agreement during a signing ceremony on campus on March 20, 2014.

Bentley University students are finding ways to boost retail sales for Kidz b Kidz, a nonprofit that brings children together to create art to benefit sick children. Things got creative as students designed artwork that was featured on cookies sold by KBK partner Wicked Good Cookies at Bentley’s Black United Fashion Show in early March.

Each Spring, the Bentley graduate community comes together to elect two dedicated and capable students to lead the GSA. The Graduate Student Association, affectionately referred to as the GSA, is an organization dedicated to unifying the Bentley graduate population in order to establish a valuable network, shape school policies, and nurture the personal and professional growth of each GSA member. Any student enrolled in a graduate level course at the university is automatically recognized as a member of the GSA.

Sobering statistics on the effects of alcohol consumption on health, grade point average and finances informed Bentley University’s “Choose OneLess” initiative, which was named as the 2014 Grand Gold winner of the NASPA (Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education) Excellence Awards. The campaign encourages students to take one less alcoholic drink per social occasion.

Bentley University’s Ron Ardizzone appointed to Massachusetts Commission on Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Youth. He will focus on community outreach and relationship building with educators to help make schools safer for LGBT youth.

Bentley University was among those represented at the Association of Independent Colleges & Universities in Massachusetts (AICUM) Financial Aid Advocacy Day at the State House. Sudents met with state senators and representatives to persuade them to legislate for increased financial aid and scholarship opportunities.

The Corporate Immersion program at Bentley helps companies and individuals solve current business problems. Students gain valuable hands-on experience by tackling real-world business challenges and working hand-in-hand with senior business leaders, while the companies benefit from Bentley's research capabilities and the students' fresh perspectives. Students also get a glimpse behind the corporate curtain, learning about organizational culture and what it takes to get things done in the real world

The Bentley University Graduate School of Business is ranked among the top 100 graduate business schools in the country and one of the top ten in New England in the recently released U.S. News & World Report rankings of America's Best Graduate Business Schools 2015.

Governor Deval Patrick today announced the Massachusetts Women’s Leadership Fellowship developed in partnership with Bentley University and its Center for Women and Business (CWB). The program is part of the Governor’s Women in the Workplace initiative that will underscore the key role all working women play in business and the economic success of the Commonwealth by growing the pipeline of women poised to fill high-level positions in both the public and private sectors.
