Card Office

The Card Office issues Bentley University identification (Falcon Cards) to students, faculty and staff.

Summer Business Hours: Monday—Thursday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The card office will be closed Tuesday, June 25 for department training.


Falcon Card

The Falcon Card is the official identification card for all Bentley students, faculty and staff. This card is also used by resident students to gain access to residence halls.

Obtaining a New Falcon Card

New Falcon Cards are issued free of charge for all incoming students, staff, and faculty. Faculty, staff, and graduate students can visit the Card Office, located in the University Police Station, during normal business hours to pick up your ID.

Damaged, Lost and Stolen Falcon Cards

A lost ID card must be reported to the Card Office or, during after hours, to University Police.

Falcon Card Replacement Fees

The fee to replace your Falcon Card, at this time, is determined by the number of cards you have previously been issued. Damaged IDs may be replaced for free, provided you turn in the current, active ID card and it can be verified to be the active card issued.


A University Police officer cannot admit you to your room if you lose or forget your ID card. If you are sure that your ID card is in your room, contact your RA for assistance.

Falcon Funds

The Falcon Card is used for debit transactions for dining services and works like a debit card on campus; you can only make purchases if you have the funds available. Any remaining balances at the end of each semester automatically are rolled over to the next one.

Adding Falcon Funds

You can add funds to your Falcon Card through the following methods:


Log into MyBentley and select the following: Finances > Deposit to Falcon Card. MasterCard, Visa and Discover cards are accepted. It may take up to 10 minutes for your account balance to be updated.

Parents and guardians can make off-campus deposits to a student’s Falcon Funds account through CashNet. Deposits made through CashNet take one day to update account balances.


You may make in-person deposits to your Falcon Funds account at the Card Office in the Michael Callahan Police Station. Deposits can be made through cash or check only.


To make a Falcon Funds deposit by mail, send a check made payable to Bentley University and including a Bentley ID number to:

Deactivating Falcon Funds

If you have lost your Falcon Card or would like to deactivate your Falcon Funds for another reason, log into MyBentley and select the following: Finances > Deactivate Falcon Card.

Once you have frozen the funds, you will need to visit the Card Office to have your account reactivated. When obtaining a replacement card, please notify the Card Office staff that you have frozen your card online.


As a student, money deposited to your Falcon Funds account will be refunded only upon graduation or withdrawal from the university. If you are a faculty or staff member a refund will occur upon exit of your position.

Falcon Card Regulations

Your Falcon Card is the property of Bentley University. When appropriately validated, it is your official university identification It should be carried at all times and presented upon request to authorized University representatives.
