You are here

As home to more than 250,000 college students, Boston is the country’s ultimate college town.

Our classic New England campus is less than 10 miles away from the heart of the city, making it easy for you to get in on the action. It’s the best of both worlds.

Getting There

Its easy to get from campus to the heart of Harvard Square in Cambridge by bus. From there, hop onto the subway (also known as “the T”) to head to downtown Boston, or stick around the area to enjoy the shops and restaurants.

Things to Do

From world-class sporting events to cultural attractions to shopping, there’s plenty to see and do in our beloved Beantown. Here are some of our favorites:

  • Shopping in the Prudential Center, Faneuil Hall, and on Newbury Street
  • Eating at one of the many delicious Italian restaurants in the North End (save room for a cannoli from Mike’s Pastry)
  • Visiting Museums like the Isabella Stewart Gardener Museum, Museum of Fine Arts and New England Aquarium
  • Watching Championship sports with the Boston Bruins, Celtics and Red Sox, and the New England Patriots

Doing Business in Boston

As one of the country’s innovation frontiers, it’s no surprise that the city and surrounding areas are great places to look for internships and full-time jobs. Dunkin’ Donuts, EMC, Gillette, Reebok, Staples and State Street are just some the international companies headquartered locally; many leading tech companies and start-ups also make their home here.
