Part-Time MBA

Our Most Flexible MBA Program

The part-time MBA program at Bentley offers the most flexible option for students, making it a great option for the busy, working professional. While most complete the program within two years, students have up to five years and can vary their course load to fit their personal work-life schedules.

Students in the program come from all industries and a variety of jobs (everything from nursing to law to science). No matter what their background, the common goal is to understand more about business principles and learn key skills, like decision-making, business strategy, and management.

Your MBA Education

The Part-Time MBA can be completed between 12 to 15 total courses and consists of foundation, core, and elective credits.

*Students with the appropriate background may be waived from all five foundation courses but will be required to add electives if they have been waived from more than three. Four electives are required and provide students with options to focus on a concentration or select individual courses within our graduate school curriculum. Alorra Kingston, MBA

TA Senior Manager & Business Partner – Global Businesses & Functions, Boston Consulting Group
“I wanted to move beyond a functional role and develop leadership skills needed to make a broader impact, with a broader perspective. I wanted to go on this learning journey with other career professionals and learn with them and from them along the way. As a Falcon undergrad, I also had a dose of Bentley loyalty and trust that motivated me to return back to a place that helped shape me professionally! The best part was being able to take real challenges from my work experience and bring them into the classroom discussions. That immediate feedback loop made the learning stick and made the degree incredibly practical. It's also a balancing act! Without it being part of the program content, I became a master at time management, and I was surrounded by many people who were also juggling careers, families, and studies so it created a nice sense of camaraderie.

The MBA gave me confidence to take on larger and more strategic roles. Albeit I am in the same team as I was pre-MBA, and I didn't change my career, it is noticeable that I have evolved my everyday way of approaching leadership and problem solving which tangibly helped me broaden my scope of work and advance my career. Where I used to shy away from leading the most challenging projects, I now run toward them. My advice to prospective students: don't wait until graduation to apply what you're learning. Use your job as a testing ground because the immediate application is what makes the experience most powerful.”
