Why did you pick your major?
I have always wanted to be a lawyer as my late grandfather was one of the most respected judges in Trou du Nord, Haiti. In my senior year of high, I took an economics class, and it was very interesting. It was a perfect combination of math and learning about human behavior. When I came to Bentley, it was very surprising that there existed a major that combined the two subjects that I enjoyed learning about the most.
What is your favorite class you have taken at Bentley so far?
My Favorite class I have taken at Bentley thus far is Human Resources Law with Professor Kiana Pierre-Louis. Although it was quite difficult to choose just one as I have taken many of her classes, her Human Resources class was very enlightening. Through this class, I learned the various rights I have in the workplace and how to utilize the protections that are in place for employees.

Why did you decide to become a Peer Advisor?
Being advisor allows me to connect with students in a way that is very relatable. I know how it feels to question your whole future based an inability to adhere to a plan prepared in advance. As an advisor, I am able to assist in organizing a student’s plan so they can succeed at recognizing and accomplishing their goals.
What advice do you have for other students at Bentley?
College is an investment, and it is very crucial that you take full advantage of it as it may be a crucial key to assuming the career you aspire to have. Academics are very important, but it is just as important to be active socially on campus in order to build lasting relationships and professional connections.
