Why did you pick your major? I loved the first accounting class I had ever taken at Bentley and was inspired by some of the amazing careers my accounting professors have had. I also volunteered with Bentley’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program through Service Learning which developed my passion for the tax field! I now hope to get my CPA and work in tax and/or audit.

What is your favorite class you have taken at Bentley so far? Federal Taxation (AC350)

What have you enjoyed most at Bentley so far? Meeting some of my best friends and discovering what career path I hope to pursue in the future!

Why did you decide to become a Peer Advisor? I want to share all the great resources that Bentley has to offer with students and make sure they know how to use them to their full potential. I love getting involved and am excited to become a resource to all students on campus!

What advice do you have for other students at Bentley? Get involved! I have met so many amazing people and made great connections through all my involvements on campus, and it feels great to make a difference!

Why did you pick your major? I took an economics course in high school that I loved and have always been interested in the stock market and all the different opportunities the finance field provides. The blended major provided the best of both worlds.

What is your favorite class you have taken at Bentley so far? IDCC 365: Crisis Communication with Prof. Zhou

What have you enjoyed most at Bentley so far? I have enjoyed the tight knit community most at Bentley. Small class sizes have allowed me to build connections with peers and professors, and the smaller campus size makes it easy to spot friendly faces around campus.

Why did you decide to become a Peer Advisor? I wanted to be able to assist other students with topics that I can relate to. I understand how important, yet stressful, academic planning can be, so I wanted to be able to support them with any help they may need and show them all the resources Bentley has to offer!

What advice do you have for other students at Bentley?Take classes that seem genuinely interesting to you! Don’t take classes just because they seem easy - take them because you’re interested in learning more about the topic.

What have you enjoyed most at Bentley so far? Expanding my network and meeting others from different backgrounds.

Why did you decide to become a Peer Advisor? I enjoy helping others and found myself often helping my close friends out with their long-range academic planning. I want to continue to bring my willingness to help others and my knowledge into this office.

What advice do you have for other students at Bentley? The experience you have here is completely decided by you. The more you get involved, reach out, and take pride in your work, the more you’ll get out of your time here at Bentley.
