When is Intern training?

Interns are required to attend one group training each semester. This training is held on one day during the week before the start of the semester. The training provides tools for understanding general Bentley study abroad information, setting goals for the term ahead, and forming the new Intern team.

What will I gain by becoming an Intern?

Interns have the opportunity to connect with fellow study abroad alumni, exchange students, and prospective study abroad participants. They also gain professional work experience in a higher education office including developing your skills in leadership, public speaking, collaboration, marketing, and organization.

How can I express interest?

We accept applications in April (for Fall term start) and December (for Spring term start). Students who complete an application may receive an invitation to a group Zoom interview in April (for Fall term start) or January (for Spring term start). All candidates will be notified of our office’s decision within 1-2 weeks of the group interview.

Please keep in mind all Interns are required to attend training.

We are looking for innovative and creative team players who are looking to gain leadership experience. Interns are enthusiastic and committed students who are excited about sharing their study abroad experience and wisdom. To apply, please complete the Study Abroad Intern Application during the recruiting months.

Incomplete applications will not be considered.
