Which analytics degree is right for you?

Today, more than ever, the world's top industries and employers need well-qualified professionals to harness data and information. But it's more than just crunching numbers: Bentley teaches you to build your technical, analytical and business foundations, so you can extract key insights from data, communicate your findings, and add real value to your organization, no matter what field you're in. You will also gain hands-on learning in our innovation centers, which all analytics program students have access to. There you will have access to the leading edge of technology, giving you every opportunity to practice on the equipment and software being used in the business world today. In addition, all Bentley analytics programs are STEM designated, making international students eligible for 24-month OPT extension. 

Accounting (MSA)

This program is right for you if you are interested in accounting, but want the skills and experience needed to get ahead of the competition in this fast-growing big data job market. It is a straightforward 10 to 16 course degree, depending on waivers you may be eligible for, that can be completed in 12 months. Customize your degree with one of three optional tracks in accounting analytics, database analytics and forensic analytics. Graduates of the MSA program are prepared to find such careers as public accounting, internal auditing, big data analytics, fraud detection, risk assessment and management.

Business Analytics (MSBA)

This program is right for you if are interested in pursuing an in-depth understanding of the latest data analytics practices and statistical modeling methodologies that gives you the skills designed to meet the needs of a wide variety of global employers in the analytics space. The program consists of a 10 to 11 course degree, depending on waivers you may be eligible for, that can be completed in 12 months. Choose from six course clusters — data science, economics, finance, information management, management or marketing — to focus your degree in a particular area. Graduates of the MSBA program are prepared to find such careers as senior business analyst, data scientist, consultant and IT systems administrator.

Marketing Analytics (MSMA)

This program is right for you if you are interested in pursuing a career in marketing, but want the skills to analyze the large amounts of data needed to determine target markets, segment the customer base and add value to your organization. There are 10 to 12 courses required in this degree, depending on waivers you may be eligible for, that can be completed in 12 months. Gain skills specific to success in the modern marketing world, including research and analysis, customer insights, database marketing, international marketing and database analytics. Graduates of the MSMA program are prepared to find such careers as marketing manager, digital marketing analyst, business intelligence analyst and data processing executive.

Digital Innovation (MSDI)

This program is right for you if you are interested in pursuing a career in information technology, but want a combination of analytical skills, technical knowledge, business acumen and communication skills that prepare you for success in a host of cutting-edge global industries. There are 11 to 12 required courses in this degree, depending on waivers you may be eligible for, that can be completed in a minimum of 12 months. Choose one of the three tracks in business and IT management, artificial intelligence and analytics, and cybersecurity. Graduates of the MSDI program are prepared to find such careers as business analyst and consultant, IT auditor, security consultant, project manager, enterprise architect, and data engineer.

Financial Analytics Track (MSF)

This program is right for you if you are interested in pursuing a career in finance, but want a mathematical and capital market focus that integrates big data and analytics skills. There are a required 10 to 14 courses, depending on waivers you may be eligible for, that can be completed in a minimum of 12 months. Choosing the financial analytics track gives you the financial mathematics and statistical analysis skills that provides a solid foundation for your professional success. Graduates of the MSF program are prepared to find such careers as investment banking analyst, senior financial analyst, and equity research associate.
