Information Design and Corporate Communication (IDCC)

IDCC is about creating experiences through Public Relations (PR) and User Experience (UX). Public relations professionals use purpose-driven and persuasive communication to build relationships with various audiences, promote brands and products, and manage challenging issues inside and outside organizations. Students from the public relations track are future media relations specialists, social media managers, campaign managers, and public affairs officers. Students will grasp a balance of theories and practical skills in the program. Students who choose the UX concentration learn about human behavior, design thinking, and user research. They apply that knowledge to create future technology products, including mobile apps, business applications, consumer electronics, and games. They are our future information architects, UX researchers and designers, game designers, and usability specialists.

In IDCC courses, students will learn to tackle messy real-world problems and create human-centered solutions using innovative and research-based methods from UX and PR.
