Named the top bachelor of finance degree in the nation by the Bachelor's Degree Center, Bentley's finance major will teach you to analyze complex financial data, make critical decisions and communicate effectively. Once you understand how accounting and financial markets operate, you can concentrate your studies on Capital Markets, Corporate Finance or Financial Planning. An accelerated program is available to select, high-performing students. If you’re accepted, you can earn a bachelor’s and master’s degree during the four-year program.

Sustainable, Responsible, and Impact (SRI) Investing (FI 316:)

SRI is an investment discipline that considers environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) criteria to generate long-term competitive financial returns and positive societal impact. Students focus on various ESG considerations such as climate change, air and water pollution, waste management, community & employee relations, human rights, human capital management, board composition, disclosure, accounting risk, and executive compensation. Students will learn about incorporating these ESG issues into investment decisions.

Congo refugee turned Bentley student teaches kids valuable financial skills

Brandon Samba ’20 came to the U.S. at an early age, fleeing the Democratic Republic of Congo during a period of civil war and genocide. He grew up in an environment where, he says, “financial literacy was scarce.” Intent on paying forward his good fortunes, the Finance major founded Captains of Capital to help children in underserved communities learn financial literacy and money management skills.
