How you will Learn

Week 1 & 2

Unit 1: Complex Business Systems in Health

During two 90-minute sessions:

Learners will analyze workplace system dynamics and develop process maps to enhance workplace functionality through identifying complexities of the workplace while analyzing the dynamics of complex human systems.

Week 3 & 4:

Unit 2: Leadership & Team Dynamics in Health:

During two 90-minute sessions: 

Learners will review an in-depth case study and build self-awareness through assessment and personal reflection to refine their leadership style and improve their collaboration style.

Week 5 & 6:

Unit 3: Agile Problem Solving and Decision Making:

During two 90-minute sessions:

Learners will apply agile problem-solving strategies to address challenges in health organizations through a project and collaborative exercises.

Associate Professor, Management

In her research Dr. Stavrulaki aims to understand the strategic and operational implications of optimizing the supply chain as well as integrating the supply chain with other important functional areas such as marketing and new product development. She also investigates how sustainable and socially responsible supply chains can operate profitably. Her work spans both manufacturing and service organizations. Dr. Stavrulaki also holds a certificate in positive psychology and positive psychology coaching from Whole Being Institute. She is interested in exploring how positive psychology can be used to improve the well-being of individuals, employees and organizations, as well as to improve supply chain processes. Dr. Stavrulaki has published articles in many peer reviewed journals such as Management Science and the European Journal of Operational Research. She has also served as an area editor of IIE Transactions and has presented her work in many national and international conferences. Prior to joining the faculty at Bentley, she held a tenure track faculty position at the Smeal College of Business, Penn State University, University Park, PA.

Arthur stands at the forefront of healthcare IT security as a seasoned delivery leader, assistant chair of the Computer Information Systems Department, and esteemed professor at Bentley University. With an extensive healthcare application implementation, development, integration, and audit background, he has been instrumental in steering the organization through the complexities of a dynamic regulatory landscape. 

His tenure as Chief Information Security Officer and Senior Director of Applications at Cambridge Health Alliance is marked by visionary leadership in cybersecurity, managing a comprehensive portfolio of applications to bolster the institution's strategic objectives. Arthur's advocacy has reached the halls of the Massachusetts State House and the United States Congress, where he has lent his voice to crucial discussions on the opioid crisis, underlining his commitment to public health and safety. In the academic sphere, Arthur enriches the minds of future IT and Management professionals, blending his rich industry experience with his teaching in Information processing and Management and Cyber Security. His dedication extends beyond the classroom through his active role in community engagement, notably with the Perkins School for the Blind and Carroll Center for the Blind, where he fosters professional growth and inclusivity. 

Arthur's academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, a Master of Business Administration from Bentley University, and a Master of Science in Cyber Security at the University of Southern Maine. His expertise is certified by several esteemed bodies, including ISACA and Scrum Alliance, and he is a registered practitioner for CMMC in the DoD space, showcasing a relentless pursuit of excellence. Arthur's journey is a testament to his pioneering spirit in healthcare IT security and education, marked by significant contributions to policy development, operational management, and community service. He embodies a unique blend of professional rigor and community-mindedness, poised to inspire the next generation of healthcare IT professionals.

Bentley Refund Policy

Bentley University will grant a full refund for cancellations received at least 30 days before the program start date. A 50% refund will be given for those cancellations made prior to fourteen days of the program start date. No refund will be granted for those cancellations received after that time.
