Victoria Dicce will offer techniques to expand your presence and communication skills in way that will enhance your career and life. In this workshop, you will actively experience techniques to come across more powerfully in a way that is genuine and authentic to YOU, building upon tools you already have, and adding new skills to communicate more effectively in any environment: as people, as educators, as women leaders in your field.

Rewriting the Rules: Empowering Fearless Millennial Leaders

Nikki Innocent Workshop Leader:
Nikki Innocent, Corporate Leadership Coach

This workshop centers on the power and opportunity that Millennials, the largest generation in our country, have at their fingertips to take our society into the next frontier. As our country (and the world in general) becomes a more diverse and educated place, the Millennial generation will inevitably be leaned upon as a beacon for the US to live up to its economic and societal potential. And as Millennial women, the most financially independent and educated generation of women in history, we have the privilege and opportunity to reinvent the model of what leadership and power will look like for generations to come. We will explore key characteristics that make Millennials unique and vital to the growth and unity of our society, and discuss ways we can call on other generations to join in this evolution. We will brainstorm the systemic rules that need to be rewritten, and examine the underlying barriers and limiting beliefs that many women leaders carry, and how to let go of those beliefs that hold us back. This session will prepare and inspire emerging professionals to lead more courageously and authentically.

Jamie LeeWorkshop Leader:
Jamie Lee, Leadership and negotiation coach

What many women consider their strengths - listening, being relational, intuitive and empathetic - are assets to problem-solving, value-creating negotiation. This interactive workshop will provide the negotiation skills and leadership strategies to empower you to cut through gender bias in the workplace, advocate for your unique value, and grow your influence, impact, and income. You’ll learn how to avoid the 3A (avoid-accommodate-attack) trap by raising your self-awareness and shifting mindsets that can sabotage your negotiation outcomes. You’ll also learn to dig deeper in the negotiation conversation for underlying interests, hidden agendas, and implicit bias so that you can meet pushback with curiosity and creativity and get to agreement. Through exercises you will explore battle-tested strategies to neutralize difficult people or sticky situations, and immediately implement these tactics to get past impasse and create value for you and your employer.
