How It Works

The program combines synchronous and asynchronous learning led by Bentley University faculty and reacHIRE Executive Guides. Learners engage in team discussions with a cohort of fellow future C-suite leaders as well as receive personalized one-on-one coaching. Participants build essential leadership and business skills with CEO, CMO, CFO, CTO, or CPO electives.

The REACH C-Suite Program model—an integrated approach combining executive-led teams, personalized 1:1 coaching, custom learning tracks, professional networks, and tech-enabled tools to support leadership development at the highest level.

One on One Coaching

Three 45-minute 1:1 coaching sessions delivered virtually by seasoned executives who are reacHIRE Guides

Eight 90-minute Guide-facilitated virtual sessions designed to foster collaboration as well as deepen learning with peers

Through personalized coaching and assessments (including reacHIRE’s Leadership Profile) participants gain deep insight into their leadership style. This program is designed for leaders in senior-level roles (Senior Director to Vice President and Senior Vice President) who are eager to accelerate their careers and reach the highest levels of corporate leadership. Program Topics & Structure

Over six months, participants join a cohort of 15 peers led by a Guide who facilitates discussions and live sessions. The program includes eight modules and three one-on-one coaching sessions. Modules include:

  • Strategic Thinking and Visionary Leadership
    Develop the ability to think strategically, create long-term visions, and align those visions with future business trends, particularly in a fast-evolving global and technological landscape.

 

  • Executive Presence and Communication
    Build a strong executive presence, communicate with confidence and impact, and influence key stakeholders.  Develop storytelling skills, and understand how to address biases in communication styles. 

 

  • Financial Acumen and Data-Driven Decision Making
    Strengthen financial literacy and the ability to interpret data to make informed, strategic decisions at an executive level.  Read financial reports, understand key performance indicators, and make data-backed decisions that align with long-term goals.

     

  • Innovation and Leading Change
    Foster innovation within organizations, and effectively lead transformational change. Build a culture of innovation, empower teams, navigate resistance to change, and drive strategic initiatives that align with long-term goals. 

     

  • Building Relationships and Navigating Organizational Politics Ethically
    Understand organizational politics and complex power dynamics. Build strong, influential relationships across the organization, build alliances, and navigate stakeholder relationships with integrity and confidence.

     

  • Emotional Intelligence and People Leadership
    Understand the key components of emotional intelligence, including self-awareness, self-regulation, empathy, social skills, and motivation.  Learn to lead with empathy, build trust, and manage team dynamics.  Manage diverse teams, resolve conflict, build psychological safety, and create high-performing cultures.

    Understand and develop the skills needed to help organizations thrive in a global environment. Build cultural fluency and competence, recognize and address unconscious bias, and understand how different social identities experience unique challenges. Andy Aylesworth

Marketing Professor

Andy Aylesworth is a professor of marketing at Bentley University, specializing in creativity, advertising, integrated marketing communications, marketing research, and event research. His research focuses on teaching creativity, advertising persuaviness, and petrelated consumer marketing, with published work in the Journal of Advertising, Journal of Business Research, Advances in Consumer Research, and the Journal of Consumer Marketing. A former advertising account executive, Aylesworth has been recognized with Bentley’s Marketing Faculty of the Year Award for his teaching excellence.

Veronica Barber

Veronica Barber

Management Lecturer

Veronica Barber is a lecturer and assistant chair of the Management Department at Bentley University. She advocates for presence-based leadership, life-enhancing work, and healthy organizational change. With over 30 years of experience in healthcare and aging services, Barber has served as Chief Operating Officer for the New York health system, and Sr. Vice President of Human Resources for a national assisted living company (Benchmark Senior Living), and continues serving as an organizational development consultant, serving clients nationwide

Isaura Beltre

Isaura Beltre

Marketing Professor & Merchandise Leader

Isaura Beltre is a professor of marketing with over 25 years of experience in merchandising and marketing, including leadership roles as a Merchandise and Marketing Director for major and speciality retailers including Macy’s. She is passionate about understanding consumer trends, connecting brands with people, and turning data into strategic insights. Known as a creative and innovative leader, Beltre has expertise spanning from brand management, strategic planning, product development, data analysis, and in-store merchandise execution. 

Jill Brown

Jill Brown

Professor of Management & Director of Executive PhD in Business

Jill Brown Ph.D. is the Hieken Professor of Business Ethics and Professor of Management at Bentley University. Her research focuses on ethics, corporate social responsibility, social entrepreneurship, corporate governance, and strategic leadership, with publications in leading journals including Organization Science, Journal of Business Ethics, Business Ethics Quarterly, and Journal of Management Studies. She is Past Division Chair of the Academy of Management’s Social Issues in Management Division, former Co-Editor of Business & Society, and past Associate Editor of Corporate Governance: An International Review. Brown is also co-author of Business & Society: Ethics, Sustainability and Stakeholder Management (11th ed., 2023). Prior to her academic career, she worked as a commercial banker and consultant

Cynthia Clark is a corporate governance and business ethics expert and the author of Giving Voice to Values in the Boardroom and Business & Society: Ethical, Legal and Digital Environments. A frequent speaker for NACD and 50/50 Women on Boards, her work focuses on shareholder activism, ethical decision-making, and boardroom dynamics.

Wiley Davi

Wiley Davi

Professor of English & Media Studies

Wiley Davi is a Professor of English and Media Studies at Bentley University and former Associate Dean and EMS Department Chair. They’ve published on leadership, liberal learning in business education, and classroom diversity, and co-authored Leading with Uncommon Sense in 2020. A dedicateddiversity advocate, Wiley has led workshops on LGBTQ and transgender allyship, earning Bentley’s MLK Jr. Leadership Award. They’ve also received multiple teaching honors, including the Innovation in Teaching Award. Since 2015, Wiley has facilitated Women in Leadership programs for the Erasmus Center for Women and Organizations, working with major institutions like ING and the European Central Bank. They hold a PhD from Tufts University.

She has over 30 years of global operations leadership across the Americas, Asia Pacific and Japan and Europe.

Computer Information Systems Lecturer, Director of Bentley’s CIS Learning & Technology Sandbox

Mark Frydenberg is an innovative educator and technology leader with passions including learning and teaching with new technologies. He serves as the director of the CIS Learning and Technology Sandbox at Bentley University, and is a frequent speaker on topics including artificial intelligence, immersive experiences, collaborative tools, and other cutting-edge technologies. With many honors and awards dating back to 1999, Frydenberg was honored as a Presidential Faculty Fellow at Bentley.

Accounting Lecturer

Eric Gaynor offers many years of professional accounting and non-profit managerial experience. He advises several state agencies as Senior Consultant for Sivic Solutions Group and was a Project Manager with Maximus specializing in revenue maximization. His work is primarily with health & human service agencies, with an emphasis on child welfare. He is also an instructor for the National Association of State Human Services Finance Officers (HSFO). Additionally, Eric has public accounting experience in tax and audit with Johnson O'Connor. He also served as Executive Director of three Boston area non-profit organizations

Sarah MacConduibh is an accomplished executive with nearly four decades of experience in national security. As the former senior executive overseeing the U.S. Air Force Portfolio, she led the development and execution of a work program that accounted for one-fifth of business operations, addressing clients’ most pressing challenges. Known for her vision and strategic leadership, Sarah now serves as a Senior Advisor and Leadership Guide with reacHIRE, helping leaders thrive and succeed in today’s workplace.

Sr. Director, Academic Technologies & User Experience Design, CIS Adjunct Lecturer

Gaurav Shah is the Senior Director of Academic Technologies & User Experience Design at Bentley University, overseeing the Academic Technology Center (ATC) and Classroom Presentation Technologies (CPT). He leads a dynamic team to drive innovation and implement technology solutions that enhance teaching and research. Gaurav is also co-host of the podcast “AI in Academia: Navigating the Future,” exploring the impacts, risks, and opportunities of AI in higher education. A committed educator, he has developed and taught courses integrating technology with curriculum, including Concept Development (design thinking), The World Wide Web (web development), and Effective Business Communications (business storytelling and presentations)

Bridget Timberlake is a retired senior executive with over 40 years of experience in audit and banking. She built a nationally recognized Compliance Testing Program during a period of intense regulatory scrutiny, which evolved into an enduring Enterprise Independent Testing organization. Throughout her career, she held senior roles in Audit and Risk Management, focusing on mortgage, consumer lending, and regulatory compliance. She is a CIA, CFSA, and CBA.

Professor of Economics & Faculty Research Director at the CWB

Laura Young is a Professor of Economics at Bentley University and the Faculty Research Director at the CWB, where she works to integrate faculty research into the CWB’s mission of advancing gender equity in business. She also supports and amplifies scholarly work to connect academics and practitioners. Her research and teaching focus on applied macroeconomics and monetary policy. After earning her PhD in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2014, and her BS in Managerial Economics from Bentley in 2010, Young also founded WEB: Women in Economics at Bentley, a network supporting women in the economic field and expanding professional opportunities. 

Steve Wasserman

Consulting CFO & Finance Senior Lecturer

Steven Wasserman is an accomplished corporate executive and chief financial officer with extensive experience guiding organizations through complex financial and strategic challenges. He has served on executive teams across multiple industries, specializing in turnaround situations, mergers and acquisitions, and initial public offerings. Additionally, Wasserman serves as a Finance senior lecturer at Bentley, using his Wall Street expertise to inform his teaching on successfully raising capital and managing relationships with investors, investment bankers, rating agencies, and commercial banks.

Bentley Refund Policy

Bentley University will grant a full refund for cancellations received at least 30 days before the program start date. A 50% refund will be given for those cancellations made prior to fourteen days of the program start date. No refund will be granted for those cancellations received after that time.
