Certificate for Administrative Professionals

We have recently completed the Certificate for Administrative Professionals curriculum.  The curriculum is based on a needs assessment we conducted to identify key learning and development opportunities for administrative staff on campus.  The curriculum takes a three-pronged approach:

  • Admin Go-to Guide - Published earlier this year, the Guide is designed to make doing business on campus easier, especially for those new to Bentley.
  • Technical courses - We have identified 12 courses in LinkedIn Learning to support this curriculum. To earn the certificate, learners must successfully complete any eight of the 12 courses. Qualified administrators will be added to the learner group within LinkedIn Learning.
  • Classroom programs - Three 3.5-hour classroom programs are currently scheduled in January and February. Other dates will be announced later in 2019. These classes are cohort-based, and participants must complete all three to earn a certificate. The content includes assertive communication, leadership, customer service, and other skills important to this role. Qualified administrators will be invited.
