Parents and Families Orientation

Whether this is your first student to attend university or your last, the decision to attend Bentley University is an important one, and we are delighted that you have chosen to be part of the Bentley family.

To help introduce you to our community, we have created several opportunities for engagement and information sharing. Our resources are available online and can be accessed at a time convenient to your schedule.

One of the first resources that we ask new students and families to review is the New Falcon Experience website. This site has valuable information about the onboarding and orientation experience.

If your new falcon starts in Fall 2025, below are the move-in/arrival dates:

Spring 2026 New Student Arrival/Move-In and Programming

International Student Arrival: January 14, 2026, from 9am-12pm
Non-International Student Move-In: January 15, 2026, from 9am-12pm
Commuter Arrival: January 15, 2026, at 12 pm

Please note, after students arrive on their designated day, programming will continue through January 18 with optional programming on January 19, 2026.

Baby falcs joining us in Fall will receive more information in May 2026 about your New Falcon Experience.

New Falcon Experience

To ensure a smooth transition to Bentley University, we utilize a tiered approach to onboarding our new students. Bentley Beginnings is the start of the journey, then course registration, and we complete the experience with self-guided learning courses and an on-campus Orientation Program. In addition, we provide some other experiences to engage our new falcons before the start of the semester:

Pre-Orientation Virtual Meet and Greet with Orientation Group

Bentley Beginnings

Walk through the same online orientation program available to your student by visiting orientation.bentley.edu and creating a guest account. This also gives you access to an electronic version of the New Student Checklist.

Falcon Live Chats

We will be hosting zoom webinars, called Falcon Live Chats where we stream to you with information about campus resources, ways to support your student, and opportunities to answer to your questions.
