Whether this is your first student to attend university or your last, the decision to attend Bentley University is an important one, and we are delighted that you have chosen to be part of the Bentley family.   

As a parent or family member we understand that you are likely to have questions about Bentley.  These questions may be similar to those of your student, but they can also be very different.   

To help answer your questions and introduce you to our community, we have created several opportunities for engagement and information sharing.  Our resources are available online and can be accessed at a time convenient to your schedule. Should you have additional questions or simply want to speak with a member of our staff, please feel free to contact us directly. 

One of the first resources that we ask new students and families to review is the New Falcon Experience webpage. This page has valuable information about the onboarding and orientation experience. This page will be available in May. 

Also, please note that New Student Orientation will take place August 29-September 2, 2024 and our International Student program will begin on August 27, 2024. Residential students will move-in on August 29th unless they are participating in a pre-Orientation program or experience.

If your new falcon starts in Spring 2025, we will provide details about their New Falcon Experience in September 2024.

To ensure a smooth transition to Bentley University, we utilize a tiered approach to onboarding our new students. Bentley Beginnings is the start of the journey, then course registration, and we complete the experience with self guided learning courses and an on-campus Orientation Program. In addition, we provide some other experiences to engage our new falcons before the start of the semester:
