Parents and Families

Welcome to Bentley!

Whether this is your first student to attend university or your last, the decision to attend Bentley University is an important one, and we are delighted that you have chosen to be part of the Bentley family.  During the days leading up to your student’s arrival on campus there will be moments of excitement, uncertainty and of course questions.

As a parent or family member we understand that you are likely to have questions about Bentley.  These questions may be similar to those of your student, but they can also be very different.

To help answer your questions and introduce you to our community, we have created several opportunities for parent engagement and information sharing.  Most of these resources are available online, and can be accessed at a time convenient to your schedule.  You are welcome to look at all that is available or select those that are most relevant.  Should you have additional questions or simply want to speak with a member of our staff, please feel free to contact us directly.

The fall tends to go by quickly, so take time to enjoy the days ahead.  January will be here soon enough, and we look forward to meeting you and your student!

Online Orientation

Walk through the same online orientation program available to your student by visiting orientation.bentley.edu and creating a guest account. This also gives you access to an electronic version of the New Student Checklist.

Student Affairs Video Series

Below are a series of videos featuring many of the departments and resources available for students at Bentley. We encourage you to look through these videos at your convenience.  Should you have any questions, feel free to contact any of the presenters directly, as they would be happy to talk with you.  You may also email questions to  ga_orientation@bentley.edu should that be more convenient.
