I need help with...
The Housing Portal is the central hub for housing related forms and information, and it can be reached by clicking this link or by navigating to "https://www.bentley.edu/housingportal" in your browser. You will need to be logged into your Bentley account in your browser to access the portal.
If you are experiencing issues accessing the Housing Portal, please try clearing your browser's cache and then attempt to navigate to the portal. If you continue to experience issues after trying that, please contact our office at 781-891-2148 or housing@bentley.edu.
All incoming first-year students living on campus will be assigned to the Block 304 meal plan and are required to remain on that meal plan for the duration of their first academic year.
Incoming transfer and exchange students will be assigned to the Block 240 meal plan, and will have the option to change to different meal plans based upon their housing assignment location. Meal plan changes can be made via the Housing Portal until the first week of classes.
Students with a medical or religious need for a housing and/or meal plan accommodation are encouraged to submit an accommodation request. This is done via an online form, which will ask the student to identify the requested accommodation and explain why it is necessary (medical requests also require a letter from a medical provider). A committee of qualified University officials will then review each request and issue a decision to the student. We strongly encourage students to pay close attention to the deadlines to have their request reviewed before their housing process. More information about housing and meal plan accommodations, as well as access to the online form, can be found here.
Please visit the New Falcon Experience webpage, which is the hub for student onboarding information from various departments at Bentley. You will be able to find much more information there, as well as submit specific questions that you may have.
Our team is dedicated to helping you find the housing option that best fits your needs, based on what availability we have on campus. If you would like to explore possibilities for a room change, please contact your Residence Director. For more information about how to contact them, please click here. Please see below for our room change policy.
Room Change Policy
The Residential Center recognizes that students may occasionally seek a housing change due to roommate challenges or a desire for a new community.
Eligibility and Timing
Room change requests are considered after the two-week census period at the start of each semester, provided that space is available and all required procedures are followed.
Process
Students must first speak with their Residence Director (RD). For roommate concerns, students are expected to engage in mediation and other conflict resolution steps, typically facilitated by their Resident Assistant (RA) or RD, before a request will be reviewed. Approved requests are coordinated through the Residential Center.
Unauthorized Room Changes
Students may not change rooms without prior approval. Unauthorized moves may result in disciplinary action and/or financial adjustments, including reassignment to the original room.
Additional Notes
Room changes are not guaranteed and depend on space availability. The Residential Center reserves the right to reassign students as needed for administrative, conduct, or facilities reasons.
