Tell us the story of how you successfully landed the offer:

I had run very little research on the company before my first encounter with one of their senior managers at the Fall 2018 career fair. I visited their booth for a conversation, having little expectation that it would turn into a full-time job. The conversation went really well because I was relaxed, but at the same time, was very professional. Later during the interviews with Marcum, most of the interviewers expressed their interests in interviewee’s personable skills. I think it's important not only to be well prepared, but also to not show that you are desperate for any job.

Tips to Fellow Students:

It is critical to ask the right questions in any meeting (career fairs, interviews etc.) to become a rememberable person. Employers often evaluate candidates based on the questions they ask, because the questions reflex their thinking process. Also, don't let the graduate career services go to waste. They help a great deal.
