Learning & Development provides collaborative spaces and training opportunities throughout the year for employees to grow and learn from campus partners, guest speakers, and one another.

Attend reoccurring learning opportunities throughout the year developed for all Bentley staff and faculty. These professional development opportunities are open to all Bentley employees with some sessions tailored to specific audiences.

Monthly Manager Development

Manager Development

Attend manager training opportunities facilitated by campus partners or guest speakers.  Training topics are intended to provide managers with insights and soft skills to help them lead and develop their teams. 

Prior Manager Development trainings include:

Quarterly Managers’ Forum

Collaborative engagement opportunity where managers have the opportunity to learn from and engage with one another.  Forum topics rotate every quarter and managers are encouraged to share best practices, resources, and experiences with one another.

The Manager's Toolkit provides tools and resources to support managers in their responsibilities, from recruiting and retaining the right employees, to rewarding excellence and mentoring professional growth. Use the toolkit website as a general guideline in managing employees and reach out to your HR Business Partner for help when needed.

Work with Learning & Development’s certified CliftonStrengths Coaches to complete the online talent assessment for you and/or your team to discover what you naturally do best, learn how to develop your greatest talents into strengths and utilize your personalized results and reports to maximize your potential. *Note: The cost of the CliftonStrengths assessment (Top 5 strengths report for $19.99 or Full 34 Strengths report for $49.99) is not covered by Learning & Development.
