First Falcons Week

In celebration of National First-Generation Student Day on Tuesday November 8, Bentley will be hosting a series of events for our first-generation students, starting off with a series of workshops and culminating in a celebration.

 

Study Smart: Brilliant at the Basics

Monday November 7, 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. in Harry’s Pub

Meet with representatives from Academic Services and peer advisors to learn how to better manage your time and study. Bring your laptop to learn how to create a master syllabus and make the best use of your Outlook calendar. Get your questions answered to make the most of your academic career. Snacks will be served, and raffle tickets given out.

Financial Aid with Fury Friends

Wednesday November 9, 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. in Harry’s Pub

Join representatives from Financial Aid as they demystify the registration process for requesting financial assistance. Learn how to find jobs on campus and hear from current work/study students. Furry friends, raffle tickets, and snacks make this stressful process enjoyable!

Please bring your laptops, your FASFA ID, and your parents’ tax returns and W2 forms.

First to Fly: First Falcons Celebration

Thursday November 10, 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. in Harry’s Pub

Join in the fun and celebrate our First Falcons! Get a tee-shirt, have your picture taken, enter a raffle to win one of many unique prizes, and enjoy the food and music and have a good time! Everyone is invited to join in the festivities to show our pride for our First Falcons.
